PAYMENT SCREEN REDESIGN
THE CHALLENGE:
Redesign the payment screen to enhance user understanding of offer options, communicate value more effectively, and decrease the number of users exiting before completing the conversion
KPI:
Equal or higher conversion rates in the updated payment flow compared to the existing design
THE SOLUTION:
A comprehensive redesign of the payment screen, focusing on the following key elements:
Standalone offer boxes with clickable elements
Integration of value messaging within each offer box to reinforce the unique benefits of each specific offer
Integration of a countdown clock to create urgency and maintain user engagement, particularly by highlighting the time remaining until the release of new episodes
Execution of an AB test, with the current payment flow serving as the control group, to measure the effectiveness of the redesigned payment selector
THE RESULTS:
Enhanced clarity and value messaging led to overall improved engagement and conversion rates, plus decreased drop off rates compared to the current design
